A United States Veteran of the Navy Intelligence Community with 13 years of honorable service, mother, grandmother, and leader; Michelle is a force of nature and mouthpiece for recovery and reconciliation to the communities she serves. A graduate of the University of Phoenix she earned a Bachelor of Science in Management. CEO of Michelle Speakz If You Hide It You Can’t Heal It, a Coaching & Mentoring Organization; Founder of Healing Women Healing Nations NE Florida Inc, a Social Service Organization; Board Member of Northeast Florida Healthy Start Coalition, an organization focused on ending infant mortality; Trainer and advocate for National Alliance on Mental Illness. Michelle uses her voice of commitment as she advocates for survivors of domestic & sexual abuse, homelessness among female veterans, and those battling with Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and Military Sexual Trauma (MST).

Michelle’s own journey to healing from sexual and domestic abuse, military sexual trauma, and mental illness secondary to trauma was the catalyst for her passion for assisting others on their journey to healing.
Michelle Poitier is the bestselling author of several books for women that encountered trauma, abuse, and or mental illness secondary to trauma, including “Random Thoughts from the Heart. A Collection, Releasing the Pain and When Courtship Goes Wrong ~ Behind the Scenes of Dating in Ministry; as well as being one of nine veteran authors in The Voices Behind Mental Illness ~ The Life of a Veteran Series 5. She has been featured as a front-runner in overcoming barriers on platforms such as Jim Moran Global Entrepreneurship, No Barriers USA, Missouri State University, The Mission Continues, and many more. Michelle is the creator of various programs such as “Unmasking the Hurt”, ‘Redefine Your Life-Path”, and “Empowered 2 Thrive. Her primary message “Healing from the Inside Out” is dedicated to helping women redefine life after trauma. Michelle has inspired and empowered many women to pursue the path to healing, move beyond their harrowing experiences and reclaim their lives.

Michelle’s deep-seated community alliance allowed her the opportunity to serve in Spain, Korea, Panama, and underserved areas throughout the U.S. in some of the poorest communities. Offering social service referrals, food distribution, and more importantly hope, help, and healing. Her life’s vision statement, A Woman of Faith, living life audaciously IN SPITE OF…seeing the invisible, doing the impossible and inspiring others to do the same is the epitome of WHO Michelle is. #Healing Unleashed ~ Bound NO MORE.
